Rev It Up! on Main will be open this weekend! (Pass it on!)
and the weekend of graduation. These are my favorite family coffee and lunch place and their quiche and sandwiches are dank. My friends and I convinced them to be open for graduation weekend (May 12?) as well as Monument 10K weekend (this weekend!). Please support them by going to get some yummy noms after you run your ass up and down Monument. Because you deserve some quiche, you weird runner person, you.
The conscious mind is so misleading. I can’t seem to remember anything with out a list or a sharpie written note on my palm, and it always ends up biting me in the ass. Of course forgetting doesn’t mean it’s not important, it is. I just forgot.
Knowing that Ava will read this is obviously the intention, but maybe she won’t read it for a couple days and maybe she’ll come back and see it, and it will make her smile because all I really want is to see her smile and make her happy.
I know that we’re not perfect, and sometimes we fight, sometimes we yell, but I always love you. Sometimes I think about what my life would be like right now if nothing had changed from this time last year. Or this time two years ago. And the conclusion that I’ve come to is that I’m glad things changed. I’m glad I met you, I’m happy we became friends, I’m ecstatic that we’re together and I’m lucky to have had you this long.
I hope you know, that I miss you when you’re not here (even if it’s just for a couple hours) and when you make me laugh, I feel like I’ll never stop smiling.
